Default Sql string

    Hi!

I'm trying to update a record (Access2000 database) via a form. One of the fields "Rank" is a text field and the other "QualTrngNQ" is a "yes/no" field. I think that Access actually stores -1 for Yes and 0 for No. My sql string is:strUpdate = "UPDATE StudDemo SET Rank='"& Rank &"', QualTrngNQ='"& QualTrngNQ &"' WHERE DemoID = " & DemoID
The query works when I take the Yes/no field out. Leading me to think it's the Yes/No field. Should the '"& be different because the Yes/no is actually -1/0?

thanks
SteveDi
