    Default SQL Date display

Just try and make one thing clear for me please. I have read a couple of postings on this site regarding this same issue but....<BR>When viewing a table in SQL all the dates are displayed as "25/04/2001" - "dd/mm/yyyy" But as soon as you run a query from within a asp page with the date as a &#039;variable&#039; it doesn&#039;t recognise the input in "25/04/2001" format...So how come it display in SQL as dd/mm/yyyy?

in SQL server your date format is set to us_english (default) ie mm/dd/yyyy. I would assume that your server is set to uk_dateformat dd/mm/yyyy.
