I have a page that allows a user to modify the order in which pictures are displayed on the page. What the page does is it renames the files, i.e. 01.gif, 02.gif, o3.gif, etc. So that the page displays those picture files in numeric order. It correctly renames the files in the order they are supposed to show BUT the computer continues to use a cached version of the previous files. It does not download the newly renamed files. I have my browser settings to check for newer versions of stored files every visit to the page. I have tried putting this into my code:
<%
Response.AddHeader "Pragma", "no-cache"
Response.AddHeader "cache-control", "no-store"
Response.CacheControl = "no-cache"
%>
Yet the computer still stores the page in cache and continues to use it without every updating the files. Only when I go into the temporary internet directory and delete the files will it then download the new image files. Any ideas? Thanks for your help in advance.
