Default Best way to reuse code in

As many of you know I am fairly new to OO concepts, what I am wondering is:<BR><BR>I am creating a application that will have a lot of intereaction with a database would it be effiecint to create a class that can take any number of stored procedures and put it in a code behind file so everytime you want to connect to the DB and execute a SP you could just call the class and send your params?<BR><BR>

Build a Business Object. I created a Data Access Layer for all of my VB.NET code that interacts with the DB. From my Web Forms, I just instantiate the object, set some properties, and use its methods. My DAL does not deal with any SPROCs, but it would only require writing another method if I wanted to use them.
