Default Authenticating from another domain

I am having problems authenticating a user from a second domain on our intranet.

I have a directory that uses basic authentication (removed anonymous access). Everything works fine when a user from within the domain the server resides on authenticates but when a user from another domain attempts to logon they are denied. Users from this other domain have been granted access to the directory. Any one have any idea what is going on?

Using IIS 4.0.

thanks
abe

Default RE: Authenticating from another domain

When you logon as a user from the second domain your username should include your domain.
ex. user "mike" becomes "domain2mike".
