Thanks in advance for your help.

Env:
Client Win2K, IE6.0.26...
Web Svr Win2k, MS SQL 7.0
Sec Web Svr WinNT 4.0 svc pk 6a, MS SQL 7.0
File Svr WinNT 4.0 svc pk 6a

I have code which checks to see if a target dir exist on the file svr. If not, then create it via fso.CreateFolder. It is a five tier dir structure. The first two tiers alway exist. I check to see if the third tier exists - if not create it, write db row to reflect new dir, create next lower dir, create db row ... This works fine for the third and forth levels but fails to create the fifth level dir. I read in msdn that only one fso can be created so I do that. I know the code to create the fifth level is being executed because of html 'debug' statements. Any limitations on fso? All examples I found just created one dir off the root. The db calls are adodb and very simple and sucessfully update the dbs on the primary and secondary web svr AOK.
