Hi all.

I have created a class which dynamically creates a client-side JavaScript (for use with client side dynamic SELECTs). I retrieve the data from the data-base and dynamically create a string containing JavaScript array code.

In classic ASP, I would use response.write to output this string to the stream - however, I have been led to believe that the way to do this in ASP.NET is to use the RegisterClientScriptBlock method. This works great, with one major problem - the code outputted does not persist between posts, so I have to fire the method on every load and cannot wrap it in a conditional 'if not isPostBack'. This is an overhead that I would like to avoid.

Can anyone shed any light on how to make the code outputted by the RegisterClientScriptBlock method persist between posts, or if there is a better way to achieve the same result?

Cheers,

RiGiD71
