    Default CrossPost / SQL Inject

    Its long time, nobody seems to reply in the database section.<BR><BR>I have hosted my site at CIhost. I wanted to use SQL Server Database. They are telling me to use Eenterprise Manager and connect to their server which is and then they gave me a user name and password. They are basically asking to inject my database inside the container. I asked for further support but did not get any response. <BR>What could this be and how do I solve this. <BR>I have SQL server 2000 with enterprise manager. I am using windows xp profess <BR><BR>Thanx

    You have to add a new alias to the remote server. You can do this with the client network tools (in the start menu). Add a new alias and type as the servername. Choose TCP/IP as the network library. Leave the port at 1433 (unless otherwise stated by Cihost).<BR><BR>Now in Enterprise manager, rightclick the &#039;SQL Server group&#039; and choose &#039;New SQL Server registration&#039;. Choose the alias you just created. Make sure authentification is set to SQL Server, and type your username and password. That&#039;s it!
