Default datatype in MS Access is very small

    Hi,

I am developing a 'Database driven search engine' in asp. I am using MS Access as the Backend. I have a field named as 'Keywords' in a table which stores all the keywords (text: seperated by comma as delimiter) of a perticular site. I want this field to accomodate around 1000 words if not more in a single record. Presently I am using "Memo" as the datatype for this field but this didn't help me. I dont want to move from MS Access if it can be done here. If not what are the alternate solutions. I highly appreciate if anybody can give a quick response.

Thanks
sam

    Default Memo will allow..

.. an unlimited (?maybe not unlimited, but I've stored alot) amount of data in the field.

Show what you are doing and how you are having a problem.

You might also want to have a Keywords table that only stores one keyword per record and have multiple records per item.

-Doug
