I've got an SQL database set up and a form to update it. The database contains hotels who are offering accommodations in SF. One of the columns is Online Reservations. One of the hotels does not offer online reservations so I wrote some ASP code that hides this field for this particular hotel (if value <> "" then %>. In the SQL database, the field is set to NULL. Problem is when I update other fields (other then online reservations) pertaining to this hotel using the update form, the NULL value is removed when I submit the form, causing online reservations to show on my web page, even though this hotel does not offer online reservations. How do I maintain the NULL value when editing this record? Thanks.
