Hi!

I've got a dsn-less connection to an .mdb that happens like this:

accessdb=server.mappath("fpdbmydataba se.mdb")

Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")

objConn.ConnectionString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & accessdb & "; userid=myuserid; password=mypassword;"

objConn.open

----------------------------

But the Jet Database engine is looking for the system.mdw file ("Cannot start your application. The workgroup information file is missing or opened exclusively by another user.")

Can I just throw a system.mdw file in a directory on my web site? Or do I have to ask my host to put it on the hosting machine? AND...(lots of questions here...)How does the connection string know where the system.mdw is?

Help me, please!
buster
