I'm just starting to play around with ASP.NET. I'm trying to figure out how the session management works without cookies. From the little I could gather on the net, it sounded like it supports URL rewriting, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work.

What I set up was a simple page that out puts the time, a session variable, and a hyperlink to itself, then sets the sessino variable. So with cookies turned on, the first time you hit the page the session field is blank. When you click the link, the session value fills in (it was set at the bottom of the page the first time). As soon as I turn cookies off though, it stops tracking the session. I am using Server.URLEncode() for the URL. Not sure what else to do. Help please!
