    Default Converting textbox into recordset

    I have a textbox in a form that is suppose to hold names, each name should be in separate line, after submitting the form I want to insert each line (name) into the database as new record, how can I read the textbox line by line.<BR><BR>The idea is to insert names in bulk and read them and insert them in separate, if you think there is a better idea then inserting names by lines please help.<BR><BR>Thanks guys

    You surely don&#039;t mean an &#060;INPUT TYPE=TEXT&#062; field? Those are only one line (or portion of a line) long. You surely mean a &#060;TEXTAREA&#062; field?<BR><BR>If so...<BR><BR>&#060;%<BR>names = Split( Request("TheTextArea"), vbNewLine )<BR>For i = 0 To UBound( names )<BR>&nbsp; &nbsp; name = Trim( names(i) )<BR>&nbsp; &nbsp; ... insert this name ...<BR>Next<BR>%&#062;<BR><BR>
