I am set up as an oracle user that authenticates via o/s authentication. As a result I can log directly into the oracle as database as follows:<BR><BR>/@databasename <BR>(that is, username = / and password = null).<BR><BR>When I modified the connection string in the global.asa file for the application that uses this database I get this error:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039;80040e4d&#039; <BR><BR>[Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied<BR><BR>As far as Oracle itself is concerned I shouldn&#039;t need a password since I am already authenticated via NT.<BR><BR>My global.asa file conn string:<BR>"DSN=databasename;UID=/;PWD="<BR><BR>We have been able to get other non ASP apps using ADO and VB script to connect to the same database using the same connection string above.<BR><BR>Anyone have any insight?<BR><BR>Thanks!<BR><BR> <BR><BR><BR>
