    Default Connection strings

    Where is the recommended place to keep connection strings. I remember a flap when the first exploit for viewing ASP source was discovered and how the Sun and Oracle people were ragging on ASP. "You shouldn&#039t be putting database connection string in script anyway", they said. So, what is the best way to handle this? Most example code shows connect string inline (although this is probably for clarity)...

    There are no such thing as "recomended place"<BR>You can use Application_onStart in the global.asa<BR><BR>Sub Application_onStart()<BR> Appliction("MyConStr") = "DSN=MyDsn;UID=sa;PWD=;"<BR>End Sub
