My knowledge of ASP.NET is still only introductory. But I have some experience with ASP, and I have learned that search engines generally don't like querystrings. So in order to get a normal dynamic site indexed completely one has to so to say insert a static layer on top that the search engine likes. And this static layer needs to be generated or updated dynamically. There are several ways of doing this with normal serverside scripts, but how does this go together with ASP.NET?
The .NET-framework needs 'statefull' pages, not the stateless HTML ones, so does this prevent such optimization?
And is such a layer and this kind of optimization not against the generality and object orientation of the .NET framework? Does any one have experience with this?
