I'm re-building a site that was originally built using discrete HTML pages. There are over 1000 books published that need to be listed and updated, and discrete page management has always been a problem. All info in a database using ASP's to present to browser seems much better, and a database of 1000+ records doesn't seem "too" unwieldy for frequent hits. Is there any other downside? Descriptions of each book in the catalog are only in the database. Can search engines find these? Any tips for making the info more available to spiders?
