    Default Access DB Connection

    I tried to connect but i get this error<BR>Unable to open registry key &#039;Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0xb00 Thread 0xba0 DBC 0x2ec5b1c Jet&#039;.<BR><BR>Why? My code are as of below.<BR>accessDB = "Database.mdb"<BR>strDSN = "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; "<BR>strDSN = strDSN & "DBQ=" & server.MapPath(accessDB)<BR>Set conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")<BR>conn.Op en strDSN

    Changing to an OLEDB connection is the first thing I&#039;d try in this situation.<BR> Like so....<BR>strDSN = "Prvider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; "<BR>strDSN = strDSN & "Data Source=" & server.MapPath(accessDB)<BR><BR>Secondly...Make sure that your permissions are set correctly...That the IUSR_MachineName has access to the folders, that the DB is in, and to the DB file itself.

    Default This is normally....

    ...that the system can&#039;t actually find the database file.<BR><BR>Check it exists where you are telling it to look.<BR><BR>(<BR><BR>Craig.
