I&#039m trying to connect to an Access database on a remote server from a Intranet server that uses NT Challenge/Response (by specifying a UNC path in the connection string). I&#039ve gone round and round in the MSDN Knowledge base and can&#039t quite figure out if it&#039s even supposed to be possible - I know I can get it to work if the server allows Anonymous login.

I also know that IIS 4.0 can&#039t do delegate authentication, so I&#039ve tried hard-coding a username and password for an account on the server holding the database into the ASP script, which seems to work from my development server, but not on the live server - I just get the usual &#039 80004005 - you need permission&#039 error.

Has anyone ever got this working? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Dunc
