Am creating a meeting room booking facility. Have divided the day up into 17 blocks, which users select from an <option> list and I used a select statement to find all the blocks booked on a particular day, and wrote those to an HTML table.

I now need to write to an html table all the blocks not booked. I tried this:
do while not rsRooms.eof
if rsRooms("TimeBlock") <>"0900-0930" then
response.write "<tr>"
response.write "<td>"
response.write "0900-0930"

If there is only one block booked on a particular day all is well, but if there are, say, two bookings, the record set is checked twice and all the available blocks are repeated twice.

Could I write each block found to a different variable, and use an if statement to check for blocks used? If so, how do I write each block found to a different variable?

Is there a better way of doing this?
