    Default And even first answer wrong...

    Who cares what the datatype in the DB is? Using FORMATNUMBER from VBS isn&#039;t going to affect what gets stored in that field.<BR><BR>If it was declared as NUMERIC(10,2) and you stored 3.14159265 in it, the DB would automatically lop it to 3.14. <BR><BR>All using FORMATNUMBER does is confuse things; doesn&#039;t help anything.<BR><BR>I am not going to read through all those inane replies when I can see that the answers started off all wrong right to begin with. <BR><BR>Sigh.<BR><BR>
