I am writing a new chat forum for the web company I work for. One of the features I am adding is that people can insert links and email addresses as titled links in their posts. However, in order to keep people from embedding scripts, bgsounds, and all sorts of other devious goodies, I am using a messageboard type code as found on any vBulletin board, so that people who post a link would do so like this:

[A=http://www.mysite.com]Check out my site![/A]

However, I am having trouble getting the RegExp to detect this pattern. Here is what (in my little experience with RegExp) I thought would work to detect this pattern:

objRegExp.Pattern="[[A]=[wW]][wW][/[A]]"

But it's not :-(

Anyone ever done this or something like this before?
