In IE4, when I create a new browser window using Javascript&#039s Window.Open method, the Session variables are not preserved in the new window.

For example, I set Session("myvar") = "1" in a page and then do a"page2.asp"). Inside page2.asp, if I do a Response.Write(Session("myvar")),
I would get an empty string. But this works correctly in IE 5. (Prints out a 1)

Do you know how to fix or work around that? Thanks

Eric Pang
