I have session.timeout = 1 (just to test my code)

I want to test if the timeout has occured.

My code:
<% if Session("UName") = "" then %>

<% end if %>

This code is at the top of every page I want validated.
The if statement gets executed just fine if I try to address a session variable that doesn't exist so I think I don't understand what happens to session variables after timeout.

My question:
Do session variables become null after timeout? If not, any ideas on what I can do?

I've tried looking through the validate password tutorial but I am missing something to make it work.
