    Default ADODB Recordset error---help!

    I am getting the following error when running a query against an Oracle DB:<BR>ADODB.Recordset error &#039;800a0cc1&#039; <BR><BR>Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal. <BR><BR>Here is the code (All of the requested columns do exist in the table called demogr):<BR><BR> thisId = Session.Contents("survId")<BR> Set demogRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")<BR> demogRS.Open "SELECT last_name&#124&#124&#039;, &#039;&#124&#124first_name_mi Name " & _<BR> "FROM demogr " & _<BR> "where id = &#039;" & thisId & "&#039;", myConn<BR><BR>Any help would be appreciated.<BR>

    What are you REQUESTING, though?<BR><BR>You don&#039;t name the resultant field (the result of the two contatenations), so you need to reference it ordinally:<BR><BR>objRS.Fields(0)<BR><BR>Otherwise , give it a name (add " AS FullName"), and reference it as:<BR><BR>objRS.Fields("FullName")<BR><BR>Craig.
