Default How to supply validation on a 'built' as

    Hello all...
I'm wondering how to accomplish this item, a recent client add-on request. I have a template .html page, that is loaded into an asp page via an FSO, open file, read all method. This works fine...

Once loaded, the user enters data, and it's here that I'd like to validate their entry.

But putting a jscript validation routine on the template page hasn't worked...neither has putting the jscript on the asp page either.

What's the method to validate user entry in this case, anyone? Or a pointer please?

Jim

Default JavaScript should have worked...

    What have you tried?

-Doug

    Default "hasn't worked"?

What exactly is wrong about it?

I don't see how the client-side validation would be affected by you loading it in through the FSO... In fact, I'm 99.9% sure that it wouldn't ever be.

The problem must be with the code that you are trying to use to validate it.

Craig.
