I am using the SQL Server 7 DTS to try and transfer the data to a DB2 Table. Regardless of whether the table is created in db2 or not (sql allows you the option of creating the table on the fly), the problem i am getting is transfering the content of an identity column (integer) which is set to auto-increment (1,1).
Whenever i try to do this i get the following error:

Error at Destination for row number 1.

I have even created a test table in sql with an identity and varchar column, populated it and tried to export it but no luck.
If any of the columns are not identity then the data is transfered without any problems. Is it possible to maybe do it this way and then "alter" the column data type in DB2? Any idea what the sql would look like?

Please help!!
