    Default Sort an Array

I'm using the file system object to obtain information from files...this information is being put into an array and when it's viewed the use will be able to sort and filter on many different variables. Is bubble sort the best way to accomplish this? SQL would be SO much easier!! :-)

    Default ASPFAQs, category Arrays

The link to the ASPFAQs is at the top right corner of most every page on this site, including the one you are reading right now.<BR><BR>Not only are various ways of sorting arrays discussed, but if you look in the category "File System Object" you&#039;ll even find code sitting there for the asking that sorts your files any which way you please.<BR><BR>Is a bubble sort adequate? Sure, for anything under 100 elements it&#039;s often even preferable, because of the very low setup time. More than 100? Or maybe 200? Ehhh...maybe time to break out something a bit better. More than 1000? Or 2000? Definitely time.<BR><BR>
