    Default Sorting

    I have an access databse containing information I&#039;d like to sort.<BR><BR>I&#039;ve placed this code per examples suggested and written, but I get an error on Sort.<BR><BR> Dim objRS<BR> Set objRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")<BR> objRS.CursorLocation = adUseClient<BR> objRS.Open "FCinfo", objConn, adOpenStatic, , adCmdTable<BR> objRS.Sort "ID"<BR> objRS.MoveFirst<BR><BR>This is the error.<BR>Microsoft VBScript runtime error &#039;800a01c2&#039; <BR>Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment: &#039;Sort&#039; <BR><BR>/fclist.asp, line 22 <BR><BR>I also tried objRS.Sort "objRS(&#039;ID&#039;)"<BR><BR>But still received the error.<BR><BR>Any suggestions?

    I&#039;m not entirely certain that the Sort property has a default order, such as you appear to be trying to use. Just for grins, try this:<BR><BR>objRS.Sort "ID ASC"<BR><BR>And see if that doesn&#039;t bring it out of it&#039;s confounded state.<BR><BR>Cheers,<BR><BR>A.P.
