    Default Optimtizing Images

    I have a web page in which I allow people to upload images .Now I want to know whether it is possible to write asp code that would optimize the image sent to a lesser size and write it to the database.I would prefer ASP Code to components.<BR>Thanking in advance

    Default Component way...

    ASPImage would allow you to create a JPG, but it wouldn&#039;t handle GIF files.<BR><BR>Actually, most components out there are not going to handle .GIF files.<BR><BR>-Doug

    I&#039;m sorry, I can&#039;t help you with your question. But, you may be able to help someone else. In the database post, someone is asking about how to load images into a database.
