I am a freelance web developer and have recently had problems with some of my clients paying thier bills on time. I need a way to implement an on/off switch to my clients websites which I can control from my own website. (so that if a client decides not to pay his bill and change the ftp, database passwords I can still have controll over the functionality of the site). I figured I might place the connection string to the database into a .asp file and reference that .asp file as an include when setting the database connection. However, I am recieving an error that the include file cannot be found... can I #include a file from another webserver? (<!--#include file="http://www."...)<BR>If not, how can I accomplish this task?
