Default Manipulating LOGON_USER

    Hi,

I'm having users log onto a website using the NT logon method.

I want a script to catch the LOGON_USER variable then do the following:

"LOGON_USER" = robert.hedley

Strip out the . and replace it with a space then capitalise the first character of each section.

So robert.hedley becomes Robert Hedley

How could I do that?

Many thanks,

Robert

    This didn't make sense.

VARIABLE = value or variable
"LOGON_USER" is a VALUE (string), not a variable.

You could do this, as I assume your talking about Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER")
LOGON_USE R = Replace(Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER"),".", " ")

Don't know if it will do much though... Depends on the rest of your code.

- jørn
