Hi,<BR><BR>I am trying to increase the speed of uploads. The application I am writing<BR>will be on an intranet, using a Windows2000 Machine with 512M of RAM.<BR><BR>I found the following information about IIS parameter UploadReadAhead from<BR>the Microsoft Website.<BR><BR>"When a client posts data to the server, this is the default amount the<BR>server will read before passing control to the application. The application<BR>is then responsible for reading the rest of the data. If you increase this<BR>size you should increase the amount of RAM on the server."<BR><BR>The default value is 48K.<BR><BR>Microsoft say that if you increase this value you should also increase the<BR>RAM, but it does not say by how much, or what the relationship between the<BR>two is.<BR><BR>Does anyone have any idea? Or are there other ways to increase the upload<BR>speed?<BR><BR>Cheers<BR>
