How can I display a date that is stored like this
09/01/2002 15:05:00
like this?
09/01/02

Thanks for your help...
what kind of database??

SQL: convert(nvarchar,@YourDate,101)
Access: Format(YourDate, "Short Date") '...I think

sponge
without converting the database?
I usually do it at the server, but i suppose you could use the format.. if that doesn't work try

datestr = month(YourDate) & "/" & day(YourDate) & "/" & Year(YourDate)

you may want to add any zeros that get left out...
sponge
You could use the FormatDateTime function..

myDate = FormatDateTime(myDate,2)

2 is the short date form...
My SQL database field is smalldatetime(4) but I don't want the time stuff, just date...

How should I change the field datatype?
