That wasa pretty informative read.. but then i wonder how does the live stat server give each current sessions country of origin . And i guess browser hawk component also does a look up for the origin. but i dont get results cause i am on a network.
I guess reverse dns lookup might be a solution

But reverse DSN lockups take time. A lot longer than most Internet pages should run. Plus you're talking about using the WSH or something to actually do it.

And there's no guarrantee that'll return anything...

Craig.
yess they take time ..mebbe not in asp but someother language. I have seen altavista.com popping up a window telling to visit altavista.co.in if i access the site from india.

Then how do i redirect a user from US to a site in US server and a user from india to the site in INDian server.
brij
Most sites I know detect the language settings of the browser.

I.e. expedia.com. When I visit that site with a browser with dutch language settings I get tha pop-up "visist expedia.nl" but when I visit the site with English language settings I don't get a pop-up.
