Default recordset with stored procedure

    I am populating a record set from a Sysbase stored procedure.
I am unable to use bookmarks fie to a forward only cursor.
I tried changing the cursor type but it did not work. Is it possible to change the recordset cursor type when using a stored procedure.
Thanks.

    Default RE: recordset with stored procedure

    SQL = "exec MyProcedure"
RS.Open SQL, MyConn, CursorType, LockType

When you do SET RS = MyConn.Execute("SomeProc") you will always get a forwardonly, readonly cursor. When you want to choose the cursor yourself you always need to use the Open method of the recordset object.

(the SQL string applies to SQL Server, maybe you need something else for SyBase)
