    Default Database error

    update CProducts set Sup_category =&#039Appliances&#039,Pro_Type=&#039Grills&#039,Fo rmat=&#039Gas-Full Size1&#039, Status=&#039&#039,date1=&#039&#039 where recID=6 <BR><BR>the above statement give the fallowing error when Iam trying <BR>to udate Access data base. How can I avoid this.<BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80004005&#039 Field &#039CProducts.Status&#039 cannot be a zero-length string. <BR>

    note that you are trying to set the column name Status to a zero length string. When creating your database table in Access, one option is "Allow Zero Length String?" You must have this option set to No. Change it to Yes, and everything should fall into place! (Enter Design View for the table, click on the row that contains the Status column, and check the options at the bottom...)<BR><BR>Happy Programming!
