Can someone please give me an example of what I need to use in order to connect and update fields in an Excel database.<BR>I have to use Excel due to the size of the spreadsheet. What I want to be able to do is display columns named: Name, Age, Nat & Status. Then at the end have a drop down list with 4 options which will insert the letters TL, LO, TLLO, or else make the cell blank. I keep getting the error:<BR>Database Results Error<BR>Description: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] Operation must use an updateable query.<BR>Number: -2147467259 (0x80004005)<BR>Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC <BR><BR>I have been trying for days with help from here but most of what people tell me to do needs additional info - ie they give a syntax but I don&#039;t know where it needs to go or how I need to change it.<BR><BR>Any help would be greatly appreciated.<BR><BR>Arnold -
