I made a form for a Web site aimed at kids. The submitted data won't be inserted into a database, but rather sent to the Web mgr via e-mail. (There might be some kids in classrooms w/o e-mail addresses who are submitting this form, so we don't want to require the 'from', hence the anonymity.)

So how does one submit a form anonymously using CDO? The MSDN library says that "you can send anonymous mail from CDO for NTS by simply omitting to specify the From property." I tried this to no avail with the code below (where recipient is set equal to my e-mail address and theMsg is built from several Request.Form("...") fields):

form.From = ""
form.To = recipient
form.Subject = "Form"
form.Body = theMsg
form.Send
set form = nothing

I also tried omitting form.From entirely. What is the protocol here? Thanks.
