Hi all,

I'm trying to create a simple data entry/edit form which shows one record from a SQL Server 7 DB.

Is there some way to simply drag and drop the fields from the DB table onto the Web form, and have the IDE automatically create the Web Form textbox controls already bound to the appropriate field?

In some IDEs, you could select the fields of interest from a view of the DB table, drag them to the form, and they would be automatically created by a builder to have the proper labels (captions), and textbox controls bound to the proper field.

How can I do this in VS .NET?

Is there a good resource that provides examples and/or step-by-step instructions on creating data bound web forms?

TIA.

Jim Underwood
