Is remote scripting installed by default on IIS web servers? I see no RS.HTM file anywhere on a couple of servers that I've looked at.
nope,<BR><BR>you have to download and install from Microsoft.<BR><BR>
Well I guess that rules out putting ot my server, since I have only ftp access.
What do you mean?<BR><BR>if you can see this site, you can download the files from MS.<BR><BR>not sure what you mean.
Oh, I thought you meant that there were dll or other such files I'd need to install. So it's just htm and class files?
hmm<BR><BR>can't remember now.<BR><BR>go download it and have a look
It's an exe that downloads, but the resulting _scriptlibrary folder contains just htm and asp pages.
well<BR><BR>thats the remote scripting stuff<BR><BR>learnasp.com has a decent example. Its a java applet behind the scenes
