Default INSERT / UPDATE record on same page?

    I'm using Macromedia UltraDev.

How can I use the INSERT RECORD and UPDATE RECORD
on the same page so that I can use the same page to UPDATE
or INSERT records, without having to maintain two separate ASP
pages/forms, etc?

What's the best way to handle this scenario?

Do I create a separate behavior that will handle both INSERT and UPDATE?

Do I create the form on a separate page and use a server side include to put in the form?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

-- Gregory Wexler

Default I don't use UltraDev....

But essentially, yes, you will create two behaviors. One to handle the INSERT, and a second one for the UPDATE.

I don't know what you're trying, but I *think* what you're going to need is something along the lines of an
IF THEN
'Do UPDATE
ELSE
'Do INSERT
END IF

Statement
