Default Yes/No True/False in SQl

I converted a Access DB to a sql server db via the tools in Sql manager. I used some Yes/no fields in access, which where converted to bit. I looked for a data type in SQL server called y/n or something close, does one exist or is bit it?
Is there even away to do this or should I convert all my Yes/no fields to integers and use 1 and 0 instead?

Any help greatly appreciated
Yes, bit's it. It can take values of 0 and 1.
