Default Document.redirect

    Suppose I've got three pages a.asp, b.asp and c.asp.

I want a user on page a to click a link and go to page b for three seconds and then automatically go to page c. This is fine and the script was easy.

The problem is if a user hits the "back" button on his browser from page c he goes to page b and in three seconds goes back to page c. I want to make it so that if the user gets to page b from any other page other than page a, the user is automatically returned to page a with no delay.

this is what I have so far, but it doesn't work

<%@ LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT" %>

<%
if (document.referrer = "")
DELAY_TIME = 2
REDIRECT_URL = ""
else
DELAY_TIME = 0
REDIRECT_URL = ""
end if

%>

Any ideas
