Is it possible to have a user operation ie onClick, trigger an Excel spreadsheet (stored/embedded in an Access database as an OLE object) to open in their browser and if so how do I do it?? <BR><BR>Thanks <BR><BR>Jon Boy
My apologies I thought the idea was to see if it could be solved in the basic forum (which it doesn't seem to be) before moving to the more advanced. As for doing the code for me (nice as it sounds at 2am in the morning with a 11am deadline) that wasn't my intention - apologies. What I'm trying to establish is, is it possible? or am I wasting my time looking? and if it is possible what function do I use to call it? I'm happy to do the leg work...got any ideas?
RE: Viewing Excel embedded in Access via Web Brows
I've used this in the past which has worked - but it's very slow<BR><BR>Response.Clear <BR>response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"<BR>response.AddHeader "content-disposition", "inline; filename=whatever.xls"
