Default IIS5 Error Messages Not Displayed

    Hi there,

I am running Win2KPro IIS5. I have scripts running on NT4/IIS4 that display the correct "friendly" error messages, but, when placed on IIS5 only show the lovely 500 Internal Server Error message.

I have already checked the "Send detailed ASP error message to the client" radio button in the properties for the "Default Web Site". At a loss as to what to do with this.

I've seen other people post similar messages, but I've already set the option to display the messages...

Thanks

Paul Dowland.

    Paul,
Check the advanced options under tools on your local client browser. there is an option there that is checked by default, "Show friendly HTTP url error messages" You might also want to turn off "Disable script debugging"
HTH
