    Default server side validation

I am doing client side validation putting errors on a separate frame. I want to do the same thing server side, in case javascript is disabled. How do you write text (the error messages) to another frame after the server side validation detects the error?

If the page they submit to write the frameset page, just pass the errors in the querystring and parse them out in your error frame. <BR><BR>I recommend that you not let them submit the form if Javascript is disabled. You can do this in a variety of ways. Here are a couple. <BR><BR>1. Don&#039;t put an action in the form tag. Put an onsubmit javascript call that dynamically sets the action. You can use this to submit to different pages too. <BR><BR>2. Don&#039;t put a submit button, but a plain button with a javascript call to submit.
